No matter what your age or skin type, you're bound to have suffered with acne at some point in your life. Hey, even supermodel Kendall Jenner has spoken candidly about suffering with acne.
If you're at your wits' end attempting to prevent the pimples, conceal your scars and keep angry spots at bay, a quirky home remedy might be the answer to your skincare struggles.
YouTuber Kalyani shared a video of her grandmother's Ayurvedic acne treatment on Reddit and women have been going wild for it.
The treatment, which promises to treat spots and acne scars, involves boiling a handful of washed neem leaves in a litre of water.
The traditional Indian leaves are packed with Vitamin E and fatty acids, which help heal acne and give skin an unrivalled glow.
Kalyani advises placing your face over the steam for 8-10 minutes.
She then advises draining and removing the leaves before mixing them with turmeric and aloe vera gel. Whizz the three hero ingredients together in a blender and, voila, you have your acne-busting paste at the ready.
Use a brush to apply the paste to your skin and relax for around 10 minutes before washing it off.
You might resemble The Grinch but the flawless, post-mask effect will be worth it.
